Hello! My name is Pam Noble

Nice to meet you! 
Over the past 20 years or so, I have helped small businesses and nonprofits with their marketing strategies. In June 2020, I earned my bachelor's degree from Portland State University with a BS in both Marketing, and in Advertising Management.

While in college, I developed strategies and marketing systems that could easily be used by small businesses and startups everywhere. Seeing an immediate need for my expertise in the local community, I founded Noble Creative Marketing and went straight to work a year before graduating.

Why am I so passionate about small business marketing?
When I was 19, a large national discount department store opened a store in my tiny hometown.
   
I watched in anger as one locally owned business after another struggled and closed. The business owners lacked the marketing knowledge to compete with the new corporate giant in town, and within a year, my hometown's charming Main Street had transformed into a ghost town of vacant storefronts.

Too many Mom & Pop businesses suffered and closed because they couldn’t compete with the corporate giant. These small businesses could have survived with the right marketing strategy, but the business owners lacked the skills, tools, and time to make this happen. 

This situation led to my love of small business marketing. My strategies begin with helping businesses establish a solid, optimized marketing foundation so they can get the most bang for their buck with all of the marketing and advertising they do.

How hard is it to post updates in Google My Business?
It’s quite easy.
If you can send a text message or make a post on Facebook, you can post an update.
My business is only online. I heard that you can only have a Google business listing like this if you have a brick and mortar business. Is that true?
Google is constantly upgrading their services to help more people searching online find the results they’re looking for. 

In the recent past, they may have limited their listing availability to brick and mortar only, but consumer behavior has changed and now all businesses, even eCommerce with no physical location, can set up their Google listing.

For example, we don't have a fixed office location because all our work is done online. Because we're not really located in any one place, our Google Maps listing shows our service area, where our clients are located, instead of a single pin on the map.
What about COVID-19?  Things change so frequently that what I put in Google My Business today will be outdated by tomorrow.
Your Google My Business (GMB) actually makes it really easy for you to communicate directly to the new customers who find you on Google.
